floor it !

I think you can tell how excited we were. All of us even cramped into the car when he explained the functions of the gadgets that was available in the car. After getting the new car, the salesman bought unit trust from Mumee. She loves her job :P After getting the car, Louise drove Wira *along with Jason in it home. Mumee and i went over to uncle ho bun teng's reflexology centre for a free foot massage. Uncle Ho Bun Teng was awfully nice to feed us lunch. We ate sashimi. YUMM ~ ! When we left, we treat ourselves to some durian. Yummay :D
XOXO,

keep it coming !

It just keeps getting better ! From new shoes to new pup and now a brand new car ! Life is great isn't it. ;)

Pongal

7.30 a.m.
While my Malay friends were celebrating Maulidur Rasul, we moral students headed off to the field. Puan Saminder a.k.a Teacher Sam started taking pictures of the students with traditional costumes. I brought mine but was too lazy to change. :P My favourite costumes of the day was Jayashantini's (at least that is what i think her name is) blue-ish grey sari and this form 4 chinese girl's cheongsam. She has quite a nice body and she looked petite in it. :) After the so-called photoshooting session, the boys headed out to look for woods * yes, i intend to make it sound Flintstone-ish. Then they were somehow divided into two groups, boys and girls and they all started the fire. Well, they tried to at least. After a few attempts, they had to get the friendly *i have no idea what his position is in the school board* man to help start the fire. The Boys' group managed to start the fire first. The fire in the Girls' group is well .. not starting. I was so excited i hopped back and forth between the two groups. You must be wondering why was i so excited when i don't even understand their language. Haha. I guess my understanding of Tamil and body language ain't so rusty after all. When the Girls' fire were FINALLY started, they poured a bottle of milk into the pot and started cooking it. Then this Chinese boy, Sing, came over and offered to help. He can be a little annoying sometimes but he was probably the most supportive Chinese among the others. Anyway, the smoke were so strong that it had everyone in tears. All those macho boys were crying ! Can you imagine ? Haha ! It was hilarious ~ When the pongal is put in, this Indian guy, Loga *not sure of the spelling* a.k.a Padayappa was sitting in front of the fire fanning. When he couldn't take the smoke anymore, he stood up wanting to leave but didn't realize that he was stepping on his veshti. His veshti fell to his legs and was dragged along as he walked. His friends tried to stop him from walking but his eyes and nose were burning so he had to push them away. When he realized what had happened, he was SO EMBARASSED .. We all laughed so hard he had to turn away .. After that people kept laughing and won't stop asking if his veshti was tied properly. Good thing he had his school pants on or else ... :O After stirring for quite some time, the two pots of pongal were ready to be served. The rice was a little hard but it was sweet. The whole point of this activity was for us Chinese to learn about their culture and eliminate racism. It was an amazing experience and i wish to do again, this time i would definitely dress up traditional. ;) Hopefully you'll be there to celebrate with me :)

Inez

and to think i'm the dramatic one

There has been a lot of drama going on around me. Yeah, you heard me all right, AROUND.
Well, for starters, Vanesa thinks she had lost her 2 bestfriends and she won't stop crying and sulking .. which makes me sad too because i'm so used to her crazy but kind self and think she deserves better. Then there's JinIng, her boy's moving over to Korea on a scholarship study trip for 5 years. I know .. i'm happy and sad for her. After that, two of my bestfriends are in a conflict that is unresolved, a conflict i don't think can ever be resolved but good luck to that. Hmm ? oh yes, yes, this so-called conflict revolves around a boy. Definitely, DURR ~ I hate to see my that all of these are happening to all the ones that i love and i'd be more than happy to help but come on, what can i really do huh. There is nothing that i can do but watch while ripping my heart into bits. baah ~ okay .. that was a little dramatic but compared to them I'm not that much of a dramaqueen now am i ?

a whole different experience

This is my first time spending CNY with The Babes. Hanging out with The Babes were cool but the extra angpaus i got were even better ! Seriously we gotta do this again next year. We started out at Mikko's, MicLim's, Micasa ;), Liwei's, Lynn's and then over to JinIng's. I love Mikko's parents, they're so adorable, i hope they liked me too :P ; Miclim's room, filled with posters ; The interior design of LiWei's house ; Lynn's mama and mummy, again i hope they liked me too and the snacks over at JinIng's house :)
After house hopping, we went to curve as danny a.k.a mikko's boy wanted to pick up something from his friend.
P.S. The photos are not in order but the first one is my favourite.
LOL,
Inez :)
